During the sessions, they worked with some of today’s most gifted songwriters, including Ivan Lins, Milton Nascimento, Djavan, and Atlantic Jazz recording artist Gilberto Gil. The songs were re-arranged and then re-fitted with English lyrics. The album won the Grammy for Best Pop Peformance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. The song “Soul Food To Go” hit #25 on Billboard’s Top Adult Contemporary chart.
