Our show scheduled at Simsbury Meadows in Simsbury, CT has been cancelled. No rescheduling has been announced. BUT… we’ll be in New York City doing two shows each night at the Blue Note from June 16th through June 19th. See everybody there!

Sorry to see you’ve canceled the Simsbury, CT show. I was hoping to have a good-sized group of women there! I hope you weren’t discouraged by ticket sales. Patrons of this venue seem to wait until later in the week – if not the day-of the show – to purchase tickets as it’s an outdoor venue and of course the experience is weather-dependent. You guys were actually one of the first concerts I attended while in high school (Radio City Music Hall in the 80s!) Sorry to miss you!
Like so many others, we were extremely disappointed. Can you share the reason for the cancellation?

I was disappointed to hear. We hadn’t purchased tickets yet, but were looking forward to coming out to the show. I sang your songs in jazz choirs in high school.
I had purchased tickets for my husband’s birthday–we are so disappointed in the SImsbury cancellation. The first writer is correct that shows at this venue tend to sell during the week of, particularly with CT weather unpredictable in June. Still, it will be a lovely evening in Simsbury…too bad the producers or the band didn’t have faith in CT fans, many of us who saw the group last at the original Oakdale Theater in Wallingford in our college days.
